Serpents and Walking Tracks Game
This is snakes and ladders with a Aboriginal twist , The game has serpents that you have to slide down if you land on them and walking tracks to take you ahead like the ladder in the traditional game. It has 36 squares to get through therefor makes a nice quick game if you have a short time schedule.
Made of jute and cotton , the cotton serpents and tracks are appliqued on and the numbers are painted on. There is a pocket attached to the jute game board to store the wooden dice and counters in which are also included in the set. There are boomerangs at the end of each row to guide you through the game direction. The game mat measures 44cm x 44cm. Comes also with its own drawstring red cotton bag to store away and carry. Hand made by atisans in a Fair Trade organisation in Bangladesh at the Y.W.C.A with the approval of Gerald McGregor.
